About
We love enhancing stories with compelling visual effects. Urbân specialises in big set-builds and locations, such as knocking up a future city or time-lapse rewinding to reveal the past, recreating a natural disaster or battle, or using motion graphic FX to visualise information.
As a filmmaker, we work with all aspects of the creative process including; VFX, computer graphics (CGI), 2D compositing, motion graphics, and film production.

Dubai - 20 Years Time-lapse
A CGI/VFX time-lapse film of Dubai growing from a simple fishing village into one of the leading global destination cities.
To date, the film has attracted over 5 million views on the internet (Youtube and Facebook) and continues to attract interest and inquiries.
Kuwait Vision 2035 - The Five Islands Documentary Film
Concept film presenting the Kuwait Royal Family's vision for the country, circa 2035.
The film was shot in 4 Middle Eastern and North African countries, with all VFX provided by Nigel and his team.
Dubai Creek Harbour
Short promotional film introducing the new Dubai development by EMAAR. The computer generated imagery (CGI) film encompasses almost the entire city of Dubai. Directed and produced by Nigel Hunt.
Metropolis
Metropolis is a travel guide documentary television program that explores the culture and history of some of the major metropolitan cities in the world. The 6 x 1 hour episodes explore, New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, London, Paris and Rome.

The Fitzroy
In a post-apocalyptic 1950's, The Fitzroy Hotel - a derelict submarine - is your last resort for a traditional summer holiday. Crammed like sardines into a rusting tin can, the oddball residents of The Fitzroy spend their days bickering and scheming. It is left to Bernard - the hotel's hapless bellboy - to keep the peace. Limassol Del Mar
Event Film created for a live outdoor VIP launch event for property developer Limassol Del Mar in Cyprus.
The final film was projected onto a hugh 20m outdoor screen and accompanied by live musicians and performers.

Gatwick Airport Expansion
Film produced to support Gatwick Airports bid for a second runway. The film uses Broadcast motion graphics to visualise data and technical aspects of the proposal. Further use of CGI architectural animation is employed to visualise the airport concept represented in a simplified chalk style.

Expo 2020 - UAE Pavilion
A 14 day turn-around film, to direct, design and produce the film alongside the design and delivery team, who were concept-designing in parallel.
The film was used to describe the exhibition zoned spaces for Expo approval.
